Learn French With Our French Clubs

At Douce France London, we welcome children to a dedicated French Club during school holidays. Through engaging activities including oral expression, writing, vocabulary building, storytelling, and real-life communication, children discover authentic French as spoken in France and across the Francophone world.

Our approach encourages children to naturally develop the language while playing, creating, and expressing themselves in a joyful and supportive environment.

Passionate & Experienced French Teachers

Our team is made up of experienced, french native, DBS-checked tutors and teachers with extensive experience teaching French to children aged 3 to 11.

They know how to keep each session entertaining, engaging, and adapted to young learners.

Flexible Holiday Programme

The French Club runs during school holidays and can be joined independently or combined with the Douce France Holiday Camp for a fully immersive experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the French Club is open to all levels.

Our teachers adapt their approach so that every child can participate confidently, even if they are completely new to French.

Absolutely, the two experiences are designed to complement each other.

During the camp, children are immersed in French through games, activities, and interactions with native speakers. This immersion is essential for natural language acquisition and helps children associate French with fun and enjoyment. To preserve this dynamic, we do not run formal French lessons during the day.

The French Club offers a more focused moment where children can, revisit vocabulary introduced during the day, connect language to the camp’s themes, develop their French skills in a more structured way.

It’s the perfect balance between learning through immersion and reinforcing through practice.

Group sizes may vary depending on the number of children attending the camp.

However, we always ensure that groups remain small, with a maximum of 10–12 children. This allows us to encourage participation, support speaking practice, provide more individual attention

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 2 weeks before the start of the camp (full refund).

Unfortunately, cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the camp starts are non-refundable.

In case of absence due to illness, we can offer a voucher valid for 12 months, upon presentation of a medical certificate.

We tailor activities and interactions based on age, language level and each child’s personality to ensure that every child can progress at their own pace.

If you feel your child would benefit more from individual support, we also offer 1-to-1 French tutoring. You’re welcome to contact us to discuss your child’s needs in more detail, or explore our French Tutors page for more information.

Booking is done online by completing the registration form and making the payment.
